I have a job in the city! It’s quite a good one. I just sit around and look unhappy, like grumpy old man. And when people call me on the phone I pretend I’m not there. And when I have something to do, I usually take a break or work on my personal appearance. Today my co-worker Beth Norwood took these photos of me looking posh and sophisticate, just like how I feel.

That’s right! Don’t hate the player, hate the game. If you want to be ignored look my way. And if you want good pictures, hire a professional, like Beth. Cheers!!!

How 1970’s?

Stopped into a favorite today. TJ Max where I used to get all my clothes when I was a kid and didn’t know better. Just knew that it was new, despite being manufacture in mass with no design standards.

Saw some of these little buttons that go on the tops of clothes hangers to identify size. Is TJ the only people still using these. How 1970’s with colors like topaz and cherry. I miss those days of hiding in the racks and avoiding my parents. Heh, kind of like I do now!?

It’s getting to the end of January and all the snow that fell earlier in the month is beginning to subside leaving the dirt and trash it has collected in it’s absence. Every time it rains the air smells like dog pee.

While walking through a parking lot I see the remain of minor construction, coupons to brochures, and abandon children accomedies. Depression is here and snow is dirty…

WhatsUtz?

When I first moved to New York in the Spring of ‘04. Utz won over my heart with the 25 cent snack pack in honey BBQ, Original, and Jalapeno. It wasn’t so long ago, even though by todays standards that price has been heavily inflated. But it instilled into my mind what a trademark and staple of New York the Utz Chip Co. is. Where you find real value! No matter what walk of life you are from. The ideal a filling snack for a quarter or a barrel for a buck.

It was pretty amazing watching the New President Elect be sworn in today. It’s inspiring watching history when it happens and not have to weather the freezing cold or vast distances to do so. It makes me want to change for the better. To express myself more creatively. To strive for better at home. To think in a wider more worldly way. I look forward. I am proud to be an American.

Again with the blank walls. Tear them down. Tear them down. Is it really that bad not even a tag. Come one, come all, hear them fall. Corporate funding or more artistic draw.

I need to create like I need to breath, this stroke of the pen is not meant to deceive. These walls are for my eyes to consume and dream of dream that soon will be held.

It has been a couple of weeks since New Years came and went and the dust has settled on time square. Life proceeds like normal. That little island in the island is still shinning bright and packed with the masses. I haven’t been in a while. The crowds there didn’t use to bother me when I had somewhere to go.And I take in everything and direct to one thing. The scaffolding still high, law still enforced. A patriot, a comrad, a national. All these things seen all these things done. Yesterday a plane crashed into the Hudson. Everyone survived. A incredible phenomena that could only have been relieved by the combined efforts of all humanity. Nice.

Continuing on with the pictures my dad has been sending me here are a couple from the various General Education Diplomas that I have received. Before I knew I had a choice and proud to be just like everyone else, normal, status quo…

In all honesty I’m pretty dumb since I left school and I can make a pretty good argument for it. When I stopped using my brain to think, I might have well lost it.

No longer expressing myself through opinion or general knowledge my new teacher the media and obviously my new agenda the way I look!
